The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, Bukola Saraki on Monday took his campaign train to Lagos, the nation’s commercial nerve centre.
The Senate President who is competing for the right to fly the PDP flag in the 2019 presidential election against twelve other contenders is believed to be one of the favourites to clinch the ticket.
While in Lagos, Saraki urge the party delegates to vote for him in the primaries stressing that his presidency would usher in massive growth in the nation’s commercial sector.
Saraki insists that Nigeria is not immune to global economic changes therefore the country must follow global trends which is what his is presidency would bring. Saraki also promise to create enabling environment for business and economic growth which would in turn create jobs.
If Saraki gets the PDP nomination, he would go up against the incumbent President Buhari who is the sole candidate for the ruling APC in the elections.
